OT - snow

June 10th, 2008 at 07:08 am

5 to 10 inches of SNOW in JUNE on Snoqualamie Pass. We've had the coldest June in Seattle since the 1890s.

Back to finances just as soon as I pitch this snowball. Ker pow!

All I can think about is a snowball in hell. You have snowballs and we've had hell, 98+ degrees here in Maryland. LOL

Woo-hoo! Let's go to the pass today! I haven't put those snow boots away yet. Oh, wait a minute, Daisy has ballet and swimming. . . never mind.

I was confused when it was in the 90s over the weekend (official start of summer I guess) and I saw some thick snow pack in the distant Sierras when I was driving Sunday. "Huh?" I thought. It had been a stretch of 100-degree hell weather in Mid-May.

Then again my parents were just in Grand Canyon and they surprisingly woke up to 1/2 foot of snow. Huh? LOL. That was the week it was 100+ here.

I assume maybe that is what the mountain snow is from - I just hadn't noticed. OR reading your post makes me think maybe it's been snowing up there while we have been melting...

    Weather is wacky!

I'm starting to think we should take the kids up to the snow. We often go in May, but June would be a new record. Wink

    !!!!!

I think right now I'd rather have the snow than the 98 degrees!
