1 yr later - the ghost ships of Malaysia

This was the most interesting

Text is article and Link is http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive/article-1212013/Revealed-The-ghost-fleet-recession.html
article I've seen in months. Talk that the recession is over sounds like whistling in the wind. The shelves will certainly look light this Christmas.

That really is interesting! Hmm, yet another sign that this recession is far from over....

But to try to put a brighter spin on this, perhaps it also means that conspicuous consumption has leveled off considerably. If so, that's a good thing in the end....

Thanks for sharing - very interesting.

(My spouse used to work in Malaysia a bit - in the booming years - so I sent along to him - thought he would find it interesting).

That was very interesting. Sad from some respects, but it needs to happen for the economy to recover. Some of those boats may need to be turned into something else. Think how many people could live on one of those if they turned it into an apartment boat!

Thank you for that. It is eye-opening.
