the inevitable

From a fairly good day yesterday to a very bad day today. We put down our beloved 19 year old neutered male cat this afternoon. (the one who knows the name we gave him.)

I don't feel like blogging anymore today.

    Hugs, I am so sorry for your loss. I have an old kitty that I know I will one day have to make the same decision about. I'm going to go and give my guy some extra loving. They do so become part of the family.

    I know how hard it is to lose an animal that you love. We lost one of ours in May. So Sorry for your loss.

    Oh, sweetie, I am so sorry. That can't have been an easy thing to go through. I hope it will get easier after awhile and you'll be able to think of him and smile at all the wonderful things he did and all of the joy he brought to your life for 19 years. Took me a long time to get over the loss of my cat and she died on her own. I don't even have words for what it must have been like to have to decide that. I'll be thinking of you.
