sigh, still unstimulated

Spending log - $1.65 coffee + $17 groceries

The IRS claimed that they cut my stimulus check by 6/20/2008 (today). I opened my mailbox with bated breath.

Nope, unstimulated by the IRS.

Not that its horrible, because I already spent my stimulus check on starting another DRP, so the check will be used to replenish my savings. The twist on that DRP is that reinvestment (the R) doesn't occur until you accumulate 25 shares. I have 22, so the transfer agent sends me dividend checks until I get those 25 shares.

Ironically, I got the dividend check of the DRP I started in the mail - before the stimulus check.

    Sigh...i have to wait till the 4th of july, and Baseball boy waits a week after mine. We both decided to put ours toward our upcoming wedding.

    I am also a June 20th person...and no check here either. They MUST be in the mail...arh, arh.

    Mine is going to the May 09 vaca account....so no hurry but it would be nice to get it and forget it.

    It'll come a few days after the notice states. Our boy is not yet stimulated (taxwise -- a booboo from the IRS and the tax software our CPA used), but hey, he hasn't reached puberty yet.

    I'm not stimulated yet either. Ours is going to my BIL who is in the middle of painting our house. Ours is supposed to be mailed June 27th.

    They should have mailed them the 20th.

    We are 20th too. Big Grin
    My parents were 2 weeks ago and theirs was mail on the day so I am hoping ours comes Monday...

    Right after I posted the above, DH went out and got the mail. Our notice was in there saying it was mailed on the 20th, should receive by the 27th. I must have read the website wrong. I thought it got mailed on the 27th. Like I said, ours is going to my BIL who is painting the house, at least that will cover the balance. Of course you know, painting the house leads to the next thing....(landscaping)!
