credit union doings

Had a late lunch el desko and decided after to run an errand - get a little bit of money from the downtown branch of the CU.

Quite the line, even at 2pm on a Tuesday.

That's kind of the way its going. The neighborhood branch in the Safeway has now gone - they did leave one ATM which now routinely has a big line in front of it. And now the checkouts also run short on twenties.

The things we do to avoid big banks. Adjustments have to be made.

    That's a bummer!

    I have always enjoyed my CUs for being very convenient and not having lines! IF it was that inconvenient, can't say I would bother. Maybe just time to shop for another CU or smaller bank? Knowing you are in a big city, seems there should be a lot of options?

    I am hoping that BECU or another credit union can get to your neighborhood soon. We have two credit unions now directly across the street from each other, and five banks in a three block radius. And drinks at Gainsbourg or heck even Naked City or Neptune Coffee are fine.
