I lost a long post. Sigh. So I'm going to show and tell.
Before - living room
Semi, After - living room. Imagine the redecorating crew cleaned up. alone 4 chairs, the TV and a picture hanging over the fireplace.
After - dining room which is 180 degrees from the living room. Again, the cleaning crew has, ahem, done its job.
Before - master bedroom. I took this on my second visit before buying. Staged.
After - yep, I like my colors.
Before - kitchen. After is in process.
And because a couple of people asked about it, my homemade charging station, comprised of a lean-in 5 shelf bookcase and some strategically placed black twist ties.

& I appreciate you for introducing me to carpet tile. They were using them on a home improvement show we were watching over the weekend (I generally don't watch but was the only thing interesting on at hotel). They chose a single color/single texture carpet. It looked TERRIBLE. Now I see how carpet tile should be done. I love it!

@Paulette - the red is Benjamin Moore Rhubarb! ... 'cause I'm a Midwesterner at heart. It went on a hair lipsticky, but as it dried it darkened a bit and the lipsticky aspect toned down a little.
@MonkeyMama - they are Flor tiles. I'm pretty sure they have a showroom in North CA. Plenty of different types and styles and color lines they definitely encourage you to mix them up. Now that I have it in, I notice it a bit more in action in other places. My nearest Best Buy for instance has Flor tiles.
The Flor people really enjoyed my pictures, when I get caught up I owe them a blog entry. They told me that if my non-profit gig doesn't work out, they'd encourage me to turn "pro".
Nicest part is that kitty is mostly leaving them be. She did make one "scuff mark" (I leave it to the imagination), but it cleaned up very well. Except for the edges of the room, a carpet sweeper is enough to get the crumbs out.
